United Physicians Selects Compuware Covisint's Collaborative Platform for Healthcare

DETROIT--September 25, 2006--Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced that United Physicians, P.C., the largest independent physician organization in Michigan, will use Compuware Covisint to establish a physician desktop portal. Through this hosted solution, United Physicians will more effectively collaborate with its 1,700 members regardless of technical sophistication, size, infrastructure or regulatory compliance limitations.

United Physicians will leverage Covisint's proven platform of a portal framework, federated identity management, HL7 messaging engine and patient context synchronization.
