Detroit, MI
Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is the leading academically integrated system in metropolitan Detroit and the largest health care provider in southeast Michigan. The DMC has more than 2,000 licensed beds and 3,000 affiliated physicians. DMC was searching for a simple, cost effective solution for distributing clinical documents and data to its disparate network of partner physicians.
Leveraging the Covisint ExchangeLink Platform, DMC now delivers a wide variety of clinical documentation to its physician community. By partnering with Covisint, distribution of preliminary and final documents was automated for both fax and online delivery methods. DMC realized a dramatic cost reduction in clinical document distribution and further leveraged the Covisint solution to launch an outreach program with affiliated physicians.
